Empowerment and Social Responsibility

As with any company operating in Africa we understand the need to contribute to the society as a core objective of our business. The correct training and education of our staff is essential to remain competitive in our market and as a long term goal we have prioritised the education of our community, starting with Black Female Students from the age of 4 to 19, giving these students the opportunity to study in a successful environment.
Our future objective is to attract good young talent straight from school and to employ and train in corrosion protection.
We have created the Steel Pipe Education Trust which is a shareholder in SPS Corrosion and shares in the profitability of the business.
In 2019 SPS Corrosion was issued with a level 2 BBBEE Contributor Affidavit.
